The Best Keto Pizza crust - Tandoori Paneer Pizza

Pizza has always been my weakness, yummy goodness of cheese, the tangy sauce combined with Paneer, capsicum and onions toppings all grilled to perfection, oh its just heaven on an oven plate :D. So why should I give it up while on Keto, especially when eating Cheese is guilt free on Keto :D. Believe me, Keto Pizza is an incentive which can drive you :-P


I have tried a lot of recipes for Keto pizza base and all of them have come right back out of my mouth. The egg ones are too eggy, cauliflower ones are bland and so tediouuuus (serious who has the time to make this one?), I gave up! Then I realized, I have made plenty of pizza from scratch before, I can easily come up with a keto version myself and I did!


This Keto pizza base, is the best tasting Keto pizza crust on the planet :D! Frankly, I couldn't believe how well this turned out to be :D I am so happy, Yeeiii!


In this recipe, I make Tandoori Paneer pizza from scratch with my special Keto pizza crust and home made Keto Pizza Sauce. This recipe has very simple ingredients, it is easy to make, infact easier than the non-keto versions :-P I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

For the Pizza Base:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Almond flour (I use home-made, recipe here)

1 tsp Xanthan gum powder

1/4 tsp Baking Soda

Seasonings: Salt, Oregano, Chili flakes

1 tbsp Curd/Yogurt

2-3 tsp Olive oil

1 tsp water (if needed)


Tandoori Paneer Pizza:

Ingredients:

1-tbsp Pizza sauce (I use home-made, recipe here)

1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese

1 tsp Tandoori masala

Toppings: Paneer, capsicum. Onions

Seasonings: Oregano, Chilli flakes


Instructions:

Pizza base:

1) Preheat the oven at 180°C for 15 mins

2) Add 1/2 cup Almond flour in a bowl

3) Add Xanthan gum, baking powder, seasonings to it and mix

ree

4) Add 1tbsp yogurt/curd, 1tsp olive oil and mix well to form a dough

ree

5) Add 1-2tsp water if needed to form the dough

ree

6) Cover the dough with Olive oil

7) On parchment paper, add 1tsp Olive oil

8) Spread the dough on this using your fingers

9) Pinch the edges on the dough

10) Pop it into the oven for 15 mins

Tandoori Paneer Pizza:

1) Spread pizza sauce on the pizza base

2) Spread thin layer of mozzarella cheese

ree

3) Add toppings

ree

4) Add some more cheese and toppings

5) Sprinkle oregano and tandoori masala on top

ree

6) Pop it in the oven till cheese melts (about 5-10 mins)

7) Or grill it in Convention oven for 5 mins

8) Serve while hot!
