When I started Keto, incorporating fat was not an issue for me, nor was eliminating carbs. Incorporating quality protein became a challenge since I got bored of eating Paneer and wanted to get my protein from whole foods rather than protein powder. I decided to try egg. The only way I had tasted egg before, was an omelette and it was too eggy for me. Egg is the perfect combination of protein and fat but I do not like anything that tastes eggy so I am always looking for Egg recipes which are not eggy in taste. What a weird sentence :-P
If you do not like eggy tasting recipes, Steamed egg is the perfect solution for you. It is basically like custard, it gets the taste from the seasonings and the tempering and has no eggy flavor. It is creamy and delicious and perfect for your Keto diet and appropriate for any meal of the day.

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 Clove Garlic
salt to taste
Instructions:
==========
1. Add 2 eggs to an oven bowl
2. Add double the amount in water to the bowl
3. Whisk the mixture well
4. Add salt and mix again
5. Strain the mixture
6. Heat water in a broad, shallow pot
7. Place the bowl in boiling water
8. Cover the bowl and the pot
9. Let the egg mix cook in the pot for 10-15 mins
10. Check that the egg mixture has no ripples but jiggles on movement
11. In a small pan, heat olive oil for tempering
12. Add garlic and saute till it turns golden brown
13. Cool the tempering and add chives to it
14. Garnish the steamed egg with the tempering and Enjoy!
